Problem Statement
In hospitals, modern or traditional, there is always a common problem that seems to be the norm. Nurses constantly run to find the doctor when a patient’s condition worsens. This causes panic in the hospital and among the patient’s relatives if they are in the hospital.
During their shifts, some nurses who care for different patients face difficulties in administering medical prescriptions by doctors on time, which can pose a risk to the patient’s health and sometimes even lead to death.
Mechanism
The Medrunner medical assistant device, created using modern technologies and a local network, is designed to provide communication between medical professionals, in particular between doctors and nurses caring for patients. This device will help the nurse to contact doctors in case of deterioration of the patient’s condition, eliminating the need to run through the corridors in search of doctors providing medical care to other patients, which causes stress and panic in the hospital.
The device is imbedded with a LED screen, a sound and vibration system, as well as a local network connecting medical workers and the administration. It will also store data about patients and the responsibilities of medical professionals. Patient data will help nurses when prescribing medications according to doctors' prescriptions
